Device types

The Device object is a smart device, either real or virtual, created by the user (for example, a remote control). Available device types are listed below.

The device type is listed in the type field in devices.types.{type} format where type is the device type.

Each device has either skills (devices are described by at least one skill) or properties. Some devices have both.

Limitation

Use a type from the list if there is one that matches the device. Otherwise, the skill may be rejected during moderation and testing.
