Drafts and published versions

A draft is a skill configuration that hasn't been published yet. You can submit a draft for moderation or return it back to development.

After the skill is approved, you'll see the Deploy button for deploying the skill.
The skill appears in the Skill store within 5-10 minutes and starts showing up in the store's search results within a day. After the draft is published, Yandex Dialogs captures the published version and provides a new draft to edit.

If you already published a skill, moderation of a draft doesn't affect your published skill shown in the catalog:

• You can publish the new version to replace the old one.
• Alternatively, if your draft doesn't pass moderation, the current published version remains in the catalog.

Managing a published skill

After a skill is published in the Skill store, you can edit its responses. No moderation is needed for this. But keep in mind that a skill may be blocked if its functionality differs from its catalog description.

You can change the published version or remove it from the catalog:

• To edit the configuration or description of a published skill, edit the draft and submit it for moderation.

• To disable a skill for users:

  1. Open the skill page in the developer console.
  2. On the tab General info, click Stop dialog (at the bottom of the page, under the event history).

  To return the skill back to the Skill store, you have to pass moderation again.

If you want to start from scratch, the Delete dialog button permanently deletes both the published version of the skill and the current draft.
