Activating promos

Add a promo to your game and activate it on the Promos tab in the Yandex Games Console.

All promos undergo moderation. To pass, follow our recommendations.

Enabling promos in the Games Console

1. Add a promo to your game and upload the game to the Games Console.

2. Submit the game for moderation and wait for it to complete. While the game is under moderation, you will not be able to make any changes to it. This applies to all the points related to moderation.

   Note

   If your game was under moderation more than 100 days ago, you'll see a warning saying that the requirements may have changed. To check if the game meets the requirements, cancel the submission for moderation.

3. Go to the Promos tab and click Create a promo.

4. Fill in the fields:

   Field	Description	Required
   Title	Promotion name. Maximum length: 46 characters (including punctuation marks). For name requirements, see Promo design rules.
   Description	Event description. Maximum length: 250 characters (including punctuation marks). For description requirements, see Promo design rules.
   Cover	Event banner. Size: 928 × 540 pixels. Format: PNG. For cover design requirements, see Promo design rules.
   Promo start	Specify the date and time when the promo starts. The system accounts for the user's time zone.
   Promo end	Specify the date and time when the promo ends. The system accounts for the user's time zone.
   Activated	The option will be enabled if the promo passes moderation.

5. Click Submit for moderation. The promo will be uploaded to the Yandex server.

   Moderators will check whether your promo meets the requirements. Moderation time depends on the current workload, typically taking three working days or more. Moderation is not performed at night.

   You can see the results in the Games Console:

   • If moderation is passed, the Activated option will be enabled. The promo soon becomes available to users in the Discounts and promotions section of the Yandex Games catalog.
   • Otherwise, the Activated option remains disabled. A notification is sent to the email address saved in Yandex ID containing a detailed description of the reasons for rejection. The promo won't be available in the Discounts and promotions section of the Yandex Games catalog.

6. When your promo ends, add your game with the disabled promo to the Games Console, then submit it for moderation again.
