Requirement 8.3.5
Media materials do not contain content related to pornography and erotica, images of objects imitating genitals, and/or references to sexual acts, materials that insult an individual or a group of people based on gender, nationality, or religious affiliation.
Applications and their materials must not contain pornographic content, insult people based on their gender, nationality, or religion. Such games will not be allowed for publication. If a violation of the requirement is found in a game already published, it will be removed from publication.
Content requirements within the game itself are softer than for its promotional materials. Erotic content can be used inside the game, provided the application complies with the service rules and legislation, is marked with an age restriction, and its promotional materials do not contain prohibited erotica.
The calibration lists below apply only to media materials of games.
Erotica
Applications in which elements of explicit erotica are a key component of the promotional materials will not be published or will be removed from the catalog because they contain prohibited erotica.
Furthermore, moderation may not allow a game to be published or may remove an application from the catalog if undesirable content is not prohibited but is present in more than one material. Read more about such cases in the Inadmissible content section. Moderators may approve the publication of a game if an erotic hint is present in only one of the materials. Examples of such games are provided in the Permissible content section.
Materials with acceptable content may be placed in the catalog.
The moderation principle is reflected in the table. Verdicts are color-coded:
- Red — the game is not allowed for publication.
- Gray — the game is allowed for publication, as there is no focus on erotica, although elements are present.
- Green — the game is allowed for publication.

Prohibited Erotica
Moderation does not allow the publication and removes from the catalog games, in materials of which there are:
- Main erotic message — materials focus on interest in sex or explicit imagery.
- Erotic setting — the game contains silhouettes of anthropomorphic characters or intimate parts of the body against the backdrop of intimate attributes, such as a bed or a dating scene.
- Explicit erotica. This will include:
- references to sex;
- censorship — emojis, black circles, circles with an 18+ label;
- sexualized undressing or nudity;
- focus of materials on exaggeratedly sexualized characters;
- images imitating genitals or mammary glands, as well as their silhouettes.
- Erotic clickbait — erotic icon or promotional materials, even if the main message is not erotic.
- Erotic content of text blocks — words and phrases in the name of the game or its description use interest in sex, referring to it or to erotic imagery.

Acceptable Content
Moderation will allow publication and will not remove from the catalog a game, in materials of which are sexualized images, only if there is no direct exploitation of interest in sex, i.e., no:
- explicit prohibited erotica;
- and overall focus on erotica. This occurs in games where characters are cartoonish or where their images are determined by the genre.
For example, in materials for strategy and RPG games, it is acceptable to use fantasy sexualized images when such games are not focused on erotic content.

Acceptable Content
Moderation considers the content of media materials acceptable if:
- it is not related to sex;
- it lacks erotica or its elements are conditioned by the theme of the game;
- the context of the game is neutral.
In such cases, silhouettes of cartoon characters, objects, or people are permissible.
For example, in a dress-up game, characters dressed only in underwear are permissible (if it’s not explicit prohibited erotica), because it is conditioned by the overall content of the application.
