Mandatory rendering condition of Yandex’s services for customer promotional materials placement is the customer’s acceptance and compliance with requirements and conditions set forth in this document named "Impression rules" (hereinafter - the "Impression rules", "Rules").
Yandex Resources – Yandex’s information resources in the Internet and/or computer programs (inter alia, for mobile devices), including the Services.
Yandex.Search – Yandex’s information system meant to search the online information the User is looking for, available, inter alia, at yandex.xx, where xx is any top-level or second-level domain, where Yandex is technically capable to render Services.
Yandex.Travel – an information & reference service providing information on offers of a package of travel and accommodation services rendered at a common price under a tourist product contract between the User and a tour operator (tours), and information on hotels and booking offers, available, inter alia, at travel.yandex.xx, where xx is any top-level or second-level domain, where Yandex is technically capable to render Services.
Yandex.Flights – an information & reference service providing information on flights, airlines, air ticket costs and the possibility to choose air tickets by dates, departure or arrival time, airlines and other parameters, available, inter alia, at avia.yandex.xx, where xx is any top-level or second-level domain, where Yandex is technically capable to render Services.
For the purposes of this document, Yandex.Travel and Yandex.Flights shall be jointly referred to as the Services.
User - an individual who makes use of Yandex.Search for its intended purpose, in accordance with the user agreement, available at https://yandex.ru/legal/termsofuse/ and/or Yandex.Travel in accordance with the user agreement available at https://yandex.ru/legal/termsofuse/.
Hotel’s Official Web Site – the Hotel’s site in the Internet, the copyright and (or) the administration of which, according to Yandex, is carried out directly or indirectly by the Hotel. Yandex determines the Official Web Site as it sees fit.
This document can use the terms that are not defined in the Regulations. In this case the term shall be interpreted in accordance with the text of the Agreement to provide services. In the term clear interpretation absence in the text of the Regulations and in the Agreement the term interpretation is defined: in the first place by the legislation of the Russian Federation, in the second place - by the Yandex site, then by the definition that prevails (is in general use) in the Internet.
2. Advertising Spaces
Advertising and information material data impression (hereinafter referred to as - "Announcement") in ad slots can be marked as "Advertisement".
Advertisements can be shown in the following advertising spaces:
2.1. On Yandex.Search search results pages (http://www.yandex.xx/ - depending on the Geotargeting stipulated by the Parties) - in conjunction with the Hotel’s Official Web Site or the Hotel’s Official Web Sites, or, given the number of such sites, as reflected by the page issue. Advertisements are impressed in the format of “Price comparison" (comparison with prices offered by the Hotels booking systems specified in the pop-up units), if Yandex received more than 1 Announcement. The pop-up unit is displayed when the User clicks the «Book» button or any similar button provided by Yandex.Search located in Yandex.Search referred to the Hotel’s Official Web Site.
2.2. On Yandex.Travel pages. Advertisements can be impressed in the format of “Price comparison” (comparison with prices offered by the Hotels booking systems), if Yandex received more than 1 Announcement.
2.2.1. in the Hotel Card:
- if Yandex has 5 or less Materials of Customers for this Hotel – all Materials of Customers are displayed;
- if Yandex has more than 5 Materials of Customers for this Hotel – 5 Materials of Customers are displayed along with the “More” button (or any other button similar in its functionality), which, when clicked, shows all the other Materials of Customers for this Hotel.
2.2.2. in search results of the “Hotels” section:
- the Material is displayed with the lowest cost of temporary accommodation services provided by Customers taking into account the dates chosen by the User / determined otherwise. 2.3.
2.3. on Yandex.Fights pages:
- 10 Materials are displayed with the lowest cost of temporary accommodation services provided by Customers taking into account the dates chosen by the User / determined otherwise (in ascending order of such cost), and/or 10 Materials are displayed by the most popular Hotel criterion (in descending order). In this respect, Yandex determines the Hotel popularity criterion at own discretion. Yandex may not disclose the algorithm of determining the popularity criterion.
3. Advertisements Impression Conditions
3.1. The selection of Advertisements to be impressed in the Advertising Spaces specified in paragraph 2.1. of the Rules takes into account the Hotel’s Official Site availability in the search results of Yandex.Search formed upon the user's request, as well as the Hotel offering price, provided by the advertiser in the Advertisements.
3.2. For the Advertisements impressed in the Advertising Spaces specified in paragraphs 2.1 and 2.2 above, the impression mode is "price comparison" with the use of the Advertisements of one or more advertisers that meet relevance criteria and offer the lowest prices for hotel services. When changing the accommodation dates with the Hotel (hereinafter, the Date) by the User of Yandex.Search and Yandex.Travel, it is possible to change the advertisers range, whose Advertisements are impressed in the Advertising space.
3.3. Yandex does not guarantee the impression of Advertisements in all Advertising Spaces.
3.4. Yandex may, from time to time, experiment to improve the quality of the Service and the Services it provides, to develop new offers for Customers and for any other purposes, which may change the Locations, their quantity and any other terms of Advertisements Impression. Information on such experiments can be obtained from the help desk through the feedback form at http://feedback2.yandex.ru/travel/ stating the request reason and the account/order number. Upon the said request, one will receive information on forthcoming experiments to be conducted within seven (7) calendar days from the request date and information on the experiments being conducted at the time of request.
4. Additional Conditions
The Advertisements may not be impressed on Yandex Services pages optimized for mobile devices.
 For the purposes of this document, the notation «xx», used in domain names listed in this document, refers to any top-level or second-level domain zone, where Yandex administers the domain with the specified name.
