Depots

This section provides information about your company's depots. Here you can add new depots, update depot details, and delete previously added depots.

Depot card

The card contains:

  • Depot parameters.
  • Depot location on the map.
  • Tools for saving changes or deleting depots.

Number*

Unique depot number

Name

Depot name to easily distinguish between depots. If the depot name is not defined, it's identified by its address.

Address*

The exact address of the depot. Based on the address, the system calculates the coordinates of the route starting point.

Time zone

The time zone where the depot is located. Set in "Area/Location" format. For example, Asia/Kamchatka. Please note that Etc/GMT+3 is not the same as GMT+3. The GMT+3 value corresponds to Etc/GMT-3.

Changing the time zone

Click the icon, enter the name in the search bar, and choose the appropriate value.

Default value: Europe/Moscow.

Route start detection radius, m

The radius used to determine when a courier visits a depot. This parameter determines whether an SMS is sent when a route starts: a shift start message is sent once the distance between the courier and the depot exceeds the specified radius. Default value: 500.

Detection radius for this depot's orders, m

An order is considered deliver if the courier stays within the specified radius from the order delivery address for a certain period of time. The time required per order equals to the sum of the handling time at location and the order handling time. By default, the parameter is not set.

Adding a depot

  1. Click Create a depot on the top right.
  2. Specify depot parameters.
  3. If needed, enable the Allow couriers to edit the route option so that couriers can change their order sequence in the Yandex Courier app.
  4. Click Create.

Updating depot information

  1. Open the depot card.
  2. Change the depot parameters.
  3. If needed, enable the Allow couriers to edit the route option so that couriers can change their order sequence in the Yandex Courier app.
  4. Click Save.

Deleting a depot

  1. Open the depot card.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Confirm deletion.

For all routes that include the deleted depot:

  • The "Depot deleted" message is displayed in the Dashboard when you hover over the icon.

  • The depot PIN is not shown on the route page on the map.

  • In the Courier performance report, the Depot number is replaced with the "Depot deleted" message.

Note

Depots can be deleted even if they are a part of an active route.
