Manage routes

After logging in to the app, you can see the routes that have been assigned to you.

A route is a list of orders or tasks that includes all the locations and the sequence in which to visit them.

Routes will be displayed in the app, if:

  • The phone number linked to your account is registered in the RouteQ system. For more information, see Settings.

  • Your username in the system:

    • Matches the phone number.
    • Is specified correctly in the app settings under My companies.

Note

If you don't see your assigned routes:

  • Make sure you've logged in with the correct phone number. Switch accounts, if necessary. For more information, see Settings.
  • Ask your manager to add your phone number in the RouteQ system.
  • Make sure your username is specified correctly in the app.

If you're an individual driver, you can manually add waybills with your phone's camera. For more information, see Add a waybill.

Each route shows the following general information:

  1. Route status:

    • Not started: The route was assigned, but the courier hasn't started it yet.
    • In progress: The courier has started the route.
    • Completed: The courier has completed work on the orders in the route.
  2. Time remaining until the start of the route.

    If the route is scheduled for tomorrow or later, you'll see how much time is left until the start.

  3. Number of tasks: Orders and depots that need to be visited.

  4. Scheduled route start: Determined by the beginning of the time window for the first order.

  5. Scheduled route end: Determined by the end of the time window of the last order.

  6. The route's date and day of the week.

  7. Company name.

To view the details of the route, tap View.

Add a waybill

If you have delivery addresses in paper or electronic form, you can manually add a waybill in the app. To do this:

  1. In the list of active routes, tap Add waybill.

  2. Allow RouteQ access to your device's camera.

  3. Take a photo of the list of addresses on paper or on a computer screen.

    You can take multiple photos. To do this, tap . To delete a photo, tap .

  4. Tap Create route.

  5. Wait until the system digitizes the addresses and outputs a waybill.

    If the system couldn't recognize the addresses, try to take another photo in better quality.

  6. Click Save.

    The new route with the status Not started will appear in the list of active routes.

Note

You can add one waybill including no more than 20 addresses per day.

View a route

There are two route views you can toggle between: map view (default) and list view. You can switch the view at the top of the screen.

When you're ready to start completing orders, tap Start route. For more information, see Update order status.

If the route is scheduled to start in more than 24 hours, the Start route button will appear as Unavailable right now, which will be grayed out. To begin the route, wait until there are less than 24 hours before its start.

The map shows:

  1. Start (depot) and end of the route.
  2. Order point. The number on the icon corresponds to the order number in the route sequence.

General information about the route is displayed at the bottom of the map.

You can navigate the map by moving its visible parts around. To adjust the zoom, pinch your fingers in or out.

In the list view, your route's depots and orders appear in the order you need to visit them.

You can call the customer or plot a route to the order. To do this, tap:

  • to call the customer.
  • Navigation to open the route in the navigator.

You can switch between navigation systems. To do this, on the screen with routes in the Settings section, tap Navigation and select the option you need: Yandex Navigator, Yandex Maps, or RouteQ. For more information, see Settings.

Order and depot statuses on the route

The statuses of route points are indicated by color, and their types are shown by icons.

Types of points

— Order.

— Depot.

Order statuses

— Active order.

— Next order in the sequence.

— Successfully completed order.

— Order that couldn't be completed.

Depot statuses

— Unvisited depot.

— Visited depot.
