Where can I find extensions?

Yandex.Browser has identified useful and safe extensions and selected the most popular ones. You can find them on the extensions page (to get to this page, click → Extensions).

In addition to extensions selected by Yandex.Browser, you can also install extensions from the Opera catalog. All extensions from this catalog are compatible with Yandex.Browser.

1. Click  → Extensions.
2. Click Yandex Browser extensions catalog at the bottom of the page.
3. Go to the page for the extension you want and click + Add to Yandex.Browser.
4. In the window that opens, review the access rights for the extension, and confirm the installation.

After installation, the extension appears on the extensions page.

How do I install an extension?

To install an extension:

1. Click  → Extensions.
2. Click Yandex Browser extensions catalog at the bottom of the page.
3. Go to the page for the extension you want and click + Add to Yandex.Browser.
4. In the window that opens, review the access rights for the extension, and confirm the installation.

After installation, the extension appears on the extensions page.

How do I disable or remove an extension?

After installation, the extension appears on the page with browser extensions. To get there, click  → Extensions or enter browser://tune in the SmartBox.

• To disable (or enable) an extension, set the option to Off or On.
• To delete an extension, point the cursor at it. A Delete link appears to the right of the option. Click this link. You can only delete extensions that are shown in the From other sources section.

What extensions are not supported by Yandex.Browser?

If Yandex.Browser does not support an extension, you will see one of the following messages:

Incompatibility message	Failure reason
“Yandex blocked installation of a potentially dangerous extension”	The extension is malicious and is in the black list.
“Yandex.Browser does not support this extension”	The extension is not technically compatible with Yandex.Browser.
The installer says the extension was successfully installed, but it does not appear on the extensions page.	The extension is not technically compatible with Yandex.Browser.

We recommend installing extensions from the Yandex.Browser extension catalog to be sure of their safety.

How can I publish an extension in the Yandex.Browser catalog?

If you have an extension (add-on) that you would like to publish in the Yandex.Browser catalog, send us:

• The file with the extension.
• The name of the extension and a description.
• A link to the project page with additional information about the extension.

How do I install an app?

To install an app, go to the web store, select the app, and click Free. On the screen describing the app, click Install.

After installation, the app will appear on the Tableau, on the Applications tab.

How do I remove an app?

To uninstall an app, follow these steps:

1. Open the Tableau.
2. Go to the Applications tab.
3. Right-click the app icon and click Delete in the context menu.
