Notifications
Yandex Browser for Mobile sends you notifications:
- From Yandex services
- From other sites
From Yandex services
Yandex services send notifications about weather changes, traffic conditions, emergencies, and other events.
You can select which Yandex services you want to receive notifications from:
- Tap in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap Settings.
- Under Notifications, tap .
- Select the notifications you want to get.
From other sites
Websites can send notifications about news, comments, updates, and other events. Sites usually request permission to send notifications, but sometimes they can do this without permission. In Yandex Browser, you can allow or block notifications from a specific site. You can also completely disable notification requests from all websites.
When you first open a website that sends notifications, Yandex Browser asks whether you want to allow or block them. You can change this option later in the browser settings or on the Protect panel.
- Allow or block notifications from a site

- Tap in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap About the site.
- Enable or disable Notifications from this site.
- Tap in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap Settings.
- Under Notifications, tap .
- In the Allowed or Blocked list, tap the name of the site.
- Turn on Block or Allow.
- Prevent sites from suggesting notifications

- Tap Settings.
- Under Notifications, tap .
- Turn off the Notifications option.
After that, websites will not offer notifications anymore. Sites that you have already allowed to send notifications will continue sending them. You need to block notifications for each site individually.
