Comfortable web page reading
In order to make reading pages on the smartphone easier, turn on reading mode, use word wrap, and change the page display scaling.
Reader mode
When you view a page in Reader mode, you can only see the text and the images (videos) contained in the text. Other page elements (banners, interactive elements, or social media buttons) are hidden.
- Switch to Reader mode

Tap
in the SmartBox.Restriction. If you can't see Reader mode in the menu and there's no icon in the SmartBox, it means that Reader mode is not available for this page. - Exit Reader mode

Tap
in the SmartBox.
Jump to the top of the page
To go back to the top of the page, tap 
in the lower-right corner. This button appears on the screen when you've read all the way to the end. You can also call it by scrolling down a bit and then up.
To hide the button:
- Tap
in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone). - Tap Settings.
- Go to More settings and turn off "Back to top" arrow.
Text wrap (auto-fit)
If you increase the page zoom on a website, the text may go off the screen. Turn on the Auto-fit option so you won't have to scroll horizontally in order to read a sentence.
- Turn on auto-fit

- Tap in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap Settings.
- In the Text zoom and auto-fit section, enable Auto-fit text to screen.
Text zoom
You can make the page font larger or smaller:
- Tap in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap Settings.
- Go to Text zoom and auto-fit and use the slider to choose the zoom level.
If the word wrap option is on, the slider is inactive. Turn it off to change the zoom.
Full website version
Mobile site versions are displayed in the browser by default. To open the full version:
- Tap in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap Desktop version.
To go back to the mobile version of the site, tap Mobile version.
If you want Yandex Browser for Mobile to always open full versions of websites:
- Tap in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap Settings.
- Under Advanced, tap Site capabilities.
- Turn on Always open desktop versions of all websites.
