Incognito mode
In Incognito mode, your search queries and browsing history can be kept private. Yandex Browser for Mobile doesn't save your passwords, autofill data, search queries, history, or visited pages. But it does save the changes you make in the settings, downloaded files , and bookmarks.
Incognito mode features
Attention. Incognito mode doesn't make you invisible. For example, if you log in on a social network, other people will see you're online. It also doesn't protect your smartphone from viruses.
The following Yandex Browser options aren't available in Incognito mode:
- Syncing tabs open in Incognito mode.
Switch to Incognito mode
- Tap in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap Incognito tab.
- Enter a search query or web address, or choose a site from the Tableau.
In navigation mode, Incognito tabs are grayed out.
Exit Incognito mode
To close the current Incognito tab:
- Tap the icon showing the number of tabs (for example, if you have three tabs open).
- Swipe the page left or right, or tap in the top-right corner of the tab.
To close all Incognito tabs:
- Tap the icon showing the number of tabs (for example, if you have three tabs open).
- Tap in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Select Close all Incognito tabs.
