Translate pages and images
Yandex Browser for Mobile automatically detects the language of a loaded page. It can translate the page into English or another language of your choice. The built-in translator can also recognize text in images and show the translation on top of the original text.
To translate a page from a foreign language to Russian, tap 
→ Translate page.
You can monitor the progress in the translation bar at the top of the screen. If you want to stop the translation, tap 
at the top right.
To go back to the page in the original language:
Tap on the right of the translation bar.
Tap → Show original.
Translate images
- Tap and hold the image.
- In the context menu, select Translate text in image.
The translation appears on top of the original image.
To see the original image:
- Tap and hold the image.
- In the context menu, select Show original image.
Translate the page and tap Translate images on the translation bar.
To see the original text in images, tap 
. To see the page and the images in their original language, tap on the translation bar.
Change the translation language
Follow these steps to translate a page to the language of your choice:
- Translate the page into English the easiest way for you.
- In the translation bar at the top of the page, select a language from the list.
Problems with translation
- The image isn't clear enough.
- The text is handwritten or cursive.
- The image is too small.
Image text can't be translated if:
