Push to Call

Push to Call lets you call numbers found on the internet without having to enter them manually. The phone number is automatically transmitted to your smartphone from the browser installed on your iPad or computer.

What is Push to Call?

Now you no longer have to manually call a number listed on a site: Mobile Yandex.Browser sends numbers from your tablet to your Android or iOS smartphone automatically.

To enable Push to Call automatically when you sync with your smartphone:

  1. Yandex.Browser must be installed on both your smartphone and your tablet.
  2. Syncing must be enabled on both your tablet and smartphone.
  3. You must use the same Yandex account on all the devices you're syncing.

If you are syncing a tablet and several smartphones (for example, an iPhone and an Android), then you will get call notification on all your smartphones at once.

How do I make a call?

If the Push to Call option is on, phone numbers on websites will be underlined. To send a phone number to your smartphone:

  1. Open a web page in Yandex.Browser on your tablet and tap a phone number.
  2. Tap Call.

Correct a number

If necessary, you can edit the telephone number you're dialing. To do this:

  1. Open a web page in Yandex.Browser on your tablet and tap a phone number.
  2. Tap the phone number in the dialog window that opens and enter changes using your keyboard.
  3. Tap Call.

View notifications about missed calls

If you missed a call notification, open your smartphone notifications. To make a call, tap the appropriate Mobile Yandex.Browser notification.

Disable Push to Call

To disable Push to Call:

  1. Tap   → Settings.
  2. Tap Syncing.
  3. Turn off the Push to Call option.
