Manage your passwords

View, change, and delete your passwords using the Password manager in Yandex Browser for Mobile.

View passwords

To view your username and password for a specific site:

  1. Tap  → Passwords.
  2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.
  3. Click the name of the appropriate site.
  4. Tap Show password.

Change a password

To change a password for a specific website:

  1. Tap  → Passwords.
  2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.
  3. Click the name of the appropriate site.
  4. In the upper-right corner of the window that opens, tap Change.
  5. Edit your username, password or password comment.
  6. In the upper-right corner, tap Done.

Delete passwords

Password for a site
  1. Tap  → Passwords.
  2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.
  3. In the Passwords section, swipe the site to the left.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Confirm deletion.
All passwords
  1. Tap  → Passwords.
  2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.
  3. Under Passwords, tap Delete all passwords.
  4. Confirm deletion.

Disable password manager

Note. Even if you disable the password manager on your tablet, it remains active on other devices.

If you use a third-party password manager and don't want Yandex Browser to save and autofill passwords:

  1. Tap   → .
  2. Under Passwords and cards, tap Settings.
  3. Disable Save passwords.

Now the browser stops saving passwords, inserting them in login forms and requesting your master password to access your vault. Previously entered passwords stay encrypted on your tablet. They will be available if you re-enable the password manager.

To do this, turn on Save passwords in the settings.
