Image search

Restriction. This feature works only with an internet connection.

Visual search is a new way to search for information. You don't have to enter a search query: just point your camera at an object, and the system will return information about it. For example, take a picture of an apple, and the Smart Camera will tell you how many calories it contains. Take a picture of a car learn its characteristics and fuel consumption.

Note. Allow Yandex Browser to access your camera and files in the device settings.
  1. Open Yandex Browser and click in the Smartbox.
  2. Point your camera at an object or choose an image from your device's gallery. Yandex Browser will mark the recognized objects with purple dots.
  3. Tap the purple object dot, and Yandex Browser will give you information about the object, show similar images, and tell you where to search for it on the internet. Tap Products in the picture, and the Smart Camera will provide links to stores that sell the recognized products.
