Actions with campaigns

If you are running multiple campaigns in Yandex Direct, use the following tools.

Group campaign management

To edit multiple campaigns at once, select them on the Campaigns page and click Actions at the bottom of the page.

Batch editing is available for:

Seasonal conversion rate growth

Specify periods when you expect variations in your strategy performance related to sales or seasonality.

This setting is only available for pay-per-click campaigns with the “Optimize conversions”, “Target cost revenue ratio”, and “Optimize clicks” strategies. For pay-per-conversion campaigns, the setting is not available. If you select multiple campaigns to be adapted, the setting will be applied to all the selected campaigns. Selected campaigns that don't match the setting criteria won't be affected.

Yandex Metrica tags
  • Replace tags: Open the tab and click Select. Specify the tags or enter their numbers manually. Click Apply. All the current tags in the selected campaigns will be replaced with the tags you specified.

    In the Smart banner campaigns, Yandex Metrica tags will be replaced by the first tag in the list.

  • Add to list: go to the tab and click Add a tag. Select the tags or enter their numbers manually. Click Apply. The specified tags will be added to all the selected campaigns.

    This operation is not available for Smart banner campaigns.

  • Remove from list: open the tab and click Select. Select the tags or enter their numbers manually. Click Apply. The specified tags will be deleted from all the selected campaigns.

    You can't delete a tag from the Smart banner campaigns.

Time targeting

Edit the hours and days of the week when you want to run your campaigns.

Campaign start and end

To change the campaign start and end dates, enable the appropriate option and specify the date in the calendar.

Negative keywords
  • Add: Enter the negative keywords in the input field to disable ad impressions for irrelevant queries. Click Apply. The negative keywords you entered will be added to all the selected campaigns.

  • Replace: Go to the tab. In the input field, create a list of negative keywords and click Apply. All the current negative keywords in the selected campaigns will be replaced with the negative keywords that you entered.

  • Exclude: Go to the tab and enter the negative keywords you want to exclude into the input field. Click Apply. The negative keywords you entered will be deleted from the selected campaigns.

  • Remove: Go to the tab and click Apply to confirm the action. All the negative keywords in the selected campaigns will be deleted.

Strategies

Select up to 10 campaigns of the same type and set the same strategy settings for them.

Promo
  • Replace promo: Enter the desired promo, then click Apply. In the selected campaigns, promos will be replaced with the specified promo.
  • Unlink promo: Click Apply. All promos in the selected campaigns will be unlinked.
Launch Brand Lift

Available only for pay-per-impression campaigns.

Choose:

  • An existing Brand Lift survey to add to these campaigns.
  • New Brand Lift to create a new survey.
URL parameters
Enter parameters and UTM tags. The URL parameters in the selected campaigns will be updated.

If the actions can't be applied to some campaigns, you'll see a warning.

“Most important campaigns” filter

You can create a separate list for the campaigns that you run most often. To do this, select the campaigns on the Campaigns page and click Actions → Add to most important. To view the list of your most important campaigns, select Most important only in the status filter.

The list of most important campaigns is shown for each username, so you can use it to visually distinguish campaigns created by different client representatives.
