Questions series

A series of questions combines multiple questions of other types. As users fill out your form, they can copy a series of questions and answer them again. This is convenient if they need to enter the same information multiple times in the same form.

For example, you can add a series of questions with the First name, Last name, and Email fields to a form for registering event participants. Then a user can create a group application for taking part in the event by copying the series of questions and entering multiple participants' information in the same form.

You can also use a series to group multiple questions together and set up common display conditions for them.

To create a series of questions:

  1. In the list of questions, select Question series.

  2. Enter a name and ID for the series.

  3. To add a question to an empty series:

    • Select a new question from the list within the Question series section.
    • Alternatively, drag the icon of a previously created question onto the section.
  4. To add more questions:

    • Hover over the top or bottom of the first question and click .
    • Alternatively, drag the icon of a previously created question onto the Question series section.

If you create a series out of questions from the Tests and quizzes category, then scoring won't work in the test.

You can edit questions in a series the same way you edit separate questions.

  • To change where a series of questions is placed in your form, hover over the series and drag the icon. You can similarly rearrange questions inside a series.

  • To show or hide a series of questions based on previous answers, click Display conditions in the upper-right corner of the section. For more information, see Configure display conditions for questions or pages.
