Configuring pre-filling of forms

You can configure a form so that when the user opens it, specified values are automatically inserted into fields or certain answer options are pre-selected.

You can use pre-filling:

• To suggest the answer options that you think are preferable or most likely.

• To send auxiliary or technical parameters to hidden fields in the form (for example, for gathering statistics).

For Short answer and Long answer questions, you can configure pre-filling directly in the form builder. These types of questions include:

• Short text,
• Long text,
• Number,
• Phone,
• TIN,
• Email,
• Link

To make sure that a question is pre-filled when the form is opened, click Add default value and enter the value.

To use more flexible pre-fill settings (like selecting an answer for a multiple-choice question), pass the question ID and answer value to the form using URL query parameters
