A 3D object is a volumetric model of the building where your company is located. Your potential customers see this model when following directions in Yandex Navigator or Yandex Maps.

The 3D object helps customers get a better idea of what your building looks like, attracts their attention, and makes it easier to find your company.

3D objects stand out among the standard 2D elements on the map. They help users who are looking for information on the map or are on the go.

3D objects are hard to miss on the map: they grab the attention of those who didn't know about your company or its location.

With 3D objects, you can clearly showcase the details of your location and its infrastructure. Users can explore the building's exterior and the nearby area.

Where and how they're displayed

3D objects are displayed:

  1. In the web version of Yandex Maps and in the Yandex Navigator and Yandex Maps apps for Android and iOS.

  2. At a default zoom of 16.5x (no additional actions required).

How do I request it?

Preparing a single 3D object takes an average of 6–8 weeks. The terms depend on the time required to obtain all the necessary documents, process the edits, and fulfill other conditions.

To order a 3D object render, contact your personal manager.

Display conditions

If the object:

  • Is a standalone building.

  • Doesn't touch other buildings.

  • Is located at a distance of no less than 400 meters from an already rendered 3D object.

  • Occupies at least 91% of the building's area under a lease agreement or ownership rights.

  • Has a sign on the building's facade.

  • Has separate entrances.
