# Notification to your phone

When you use [Yandex Maps](https://yandex.com/maps/) on your computer, you can find a place or plot a route and then send that information to your mobile device:

1. In a place or route card, click **Send to phone**.
    
    - If you are signed in to your Yandex Maps account in the web version and on your mobile device, the notification is sent immediately.
    - If you use different accounts, select a sending method: by email or SMS.
    - You can also scan the QR code with your phone camera to receive the notification.
    
1. Tap on the notification on your mobile phone to open Yandex Maps. It will display the route or object you sent. If you don't have the app installed, you'll see the information in the browser.
