# Gas stations

You can only pay for fuel in Russia.

You can pay for fuel in the Yandex Maps app without leaving your car.
Yandex Maps also lists charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) and lets you pay for the charge.
To use the service, log in with your Yandex ID. Tap **** → **Log in**.
## Find gas stations {#where}

You can search for gas stations in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Türkiye. Charging stations are only available in Russia.

To see all gas stations on the map, tap **Gas stations** on the home screen (or  in [Navigator](https://yandex.ru/support/m-maps/en/navigator.md) mode). You can pay for fuel at gas stations marked with . EV charging stations are marked with .

## Car refuel {#how}
**Regular car**

Tap **Gas stations** at the bottom of the home screen (or  in **Navigator** mode).
1. Select a gas station marked with and tap **Directions**.
1. Select a route option and tap **Go**.
1. When you arrive there, tap **Refuel** in the gas station card and enter the fuel pump number.

Check the name of the gas station and the fuel pump number before you place an order. Otherwise, you might pay for refueling another person's vehicle.

1. Tell the gas station attendant that you'll pay through the app and name the brand of fuel. If there is no attendant, insert the gun into the tank.
1. Select the fuel pump number and fuel type in the app.
1. Specify the amount of money you want to fuel up for or the required number of liters.

To have a full tank, select the amount or number of liters that is equivalent to or greater than the full tank. After you finish refueling, the excess funds will be returned.

1. Tap **Pay**.
1. Select a [payment method](refuel.md#payment-method).
1. Tap **Confirm**. The payment receipt will be sent to your email and saved to the [refueling history](refuel.md#history).
1. Once the payment has been made, you can fuel up.
- Gas stations with post-payment
If a gas station operates on a post-payment basis, the app will notify you about it.
1.
Tap **Gas stations** at the bottom of the home screen (or  in **Navigator** mode).
1. Select a gas station marked with and tap **Directions**.
1. Select a route option and tap **Go**.
1. When you arrive there, tap **Refuel** in the gas station card and enter the fuel pump number.

Check the name of the gas station and the fuel pump number before you place an order. Otherwise, you might pay for refueling another person's vehicle.

1. Tell the gas station attendant that you'll pay through the app and name the brand of fuel.
1. The attendant will insert the gun into the gas tank, and the refueling will start. If there is no attendant, insert the gun into the tank.
1. Wait until refueling is complete. The app shows how much fuel was you got and how much you need to pay.
1. Tap **Pay**.
1. Select a payment method.
1. Tap **Confirm**. The payment receipt will be sent to your email and saved to the [refueling history](refuel.md#history).

**Electric vehicle** {#charge-electric-car}

1. [Find](#where) a charging station.
1. Open the station card and tap **Charge**. On the first charge, you will need to confirm your phone number.
1. Select an available connector and tap **Next**.
1. Select the charging time and tap **Start charging**.
1. Connect the charging station cable to the electric vehicle, and you'll see the remaining time, charge, and price information.
1. Tap **Finish charging** and disconnect the cable from the electric vehicle.
1. Tap **Close** in the window with order details.
- Paid charging
1. [Find](#where) a charging station.
1. Open the station card and tap **Charge**. On the first charge, you will need to confirm your phone number.
1. Select an available connector and tap **Next**.
1. Select the charging time and tap **Start charging**.
1. Connect the charging station cable to the electric vehicle, and you'll see the remaining time, charge, and price information.
1. Tap **Finish charging** and disconnect the cable from the electric vehicle.
1. Tap **Pay**.
1. Select a [payment method](#payment-method).
1. Tap **Confirm**. The payment receipt will be sent to your email and saved to the [refueling history](#history).

## Refueling history {#history}
To view your refueling history:
1.
Tap ** (profile picture)**.
1. Select **Settings** → **Yandex Fuel** → **Order history**.
## Payment methods {#payment-method}

You can pay with Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and Mir cards.
The amount is debited from the linked bank card. To link a bank card:
1. Tap ** (profile picture)**.
1. Select **Settings** → **Yandex Fuel** → **Payment method** → **Add bank card**.
1. Enter your card details and tap **Add**.
The first time you pay, you need to verify access to your bank card. A small amount will be held on your card. These reserved funds are not credited and will be unfrozen after verification is complete.
You can link multiple cards to the app.
To remove a bank card:
1. Tap ** (profile picture)**.
1. Select **Settings** → **Yandex Fuel** → **Payment method** → **Edit**.
1. Tap  next to the card you want to remove.

Payments with FPS are only available to individuals.

To pay via FPS:
1. In the payment settings, tap **Edit**, select FPS, and confirm the transaction.
1. Yandex Maps will redirect you to your bank app. If you have several bank apps, you can choose the one you need.
1. To confirm your payment, follow the instructions in your bank app.
After successful payment, Yandex Maps will open again.

If your company is [connected](https://yandex.ru/support/zapravki/partners.html) to the service, you'll be able to pay using a business account at the order confirmation stage.

## Discounts and bonuses {#bonus}
You can link gas station loyalty cards to earn and spend bonus points when you pay for fuel in the app. To do this, follow these steps:
1.
Tap ** (profile picture)**.
1.
Select **Settings** → **Yandex Fuel** → **Discounts and bonuses**.
1. Select the brand whose card you want to link.

To link a loyalty card, you need to enable [location detection](https://yandex.ru/support/m-maps/en/permission-notifications.md#permissions) in your device settings. If you don't see the card you need, this brand's gas station is probably located too far away from you.

1. Fill in the form according to the instructions.
If your card gives you cashback for all purchases in the gas station category, it will be awarded for payments in the app. If your card gives you cashback for purchases at particular gas stations, it will not be awarded.
### Earn Plus points as cashback {#yandex-plus}
[Yandex Plus](https://plus.yandex.ru) is a multi-subscription to Yandex services.
You get Plus bonus points when you spend more than 1000 rubles on fuel.
**How to earn bonus points**

Bonus points are not awarded for purchases paid with points.

To earn bonus points, you need to have an active [Yandex Plus multi-subscription](https://yandex.ru/support/plus-ru/index.html).
Bonus points are credited after you've paid for gas or car wash. For purchases of 1000 rubles or more, you'll receive 0.5% of your total order amount back in bonus points. You can earn a maximum of 300 points per calendar month.
**How to spend bonus points**

You can only spend bonus points in Yandex services. Points can't be withdrawn to a bank card.

You can spend your bonus points in the affiliated services or use them to pay for your [Yandex Plus multi-subscription](https://yandex.ru/support/plus-ru/index.html).
You can pay for fuel with bonus points. To do this, you need to create an order and select **Spend** on the payment screen. You can view your point balance in the **Yandex Plus** section of the menu. Bonus points are debited first, and the remaining amount is charged from your bank card.
If the amount of your accumulated points exceeds the payment amount, 1 ruble will be deducted from your card, and the remaining amount will be paid with bonus points.

### Promo code {#promo}

If you have a promo code, you can activate it. It will be applied the next time you pay for fuel.

To activate a promo code:
1.
Tap ** (profile picture)**.
1.
Select **Settings** → **Yandex Fuel** → **Discounts and bonuses**.
1. In the **Add discount** section, tap **Enter promo code**.
1. Enter the code and tap **Activate**.
If the promo code is valid and you have met the conditions of the offer, the discount will be applied automatically. On the payment screen, you will see the crossed-out old amount and the new amount after applying the discount.
## Connect a Business account {#partners}
In the Yandex Maps app, you can connect or log in to your Business account. For more information, see [Yandex Fuel for businesses](https://yandex.ru/support2/zapravki/ru/partners).
To log in to your Business account, use one of the following methods:
- On the home screen, tap **Gas stations** → **Business account**.
- Tap ** (profile picture)** → **Settings** → **Yandex Fuel** → **Business account**.
## Troubleshooting {#faq}
{% cut "I didn't get a refund" %}
Refunds usually take from a few minutes to three business days, depending on the bank where your card was issued.
If you didn't get your refund on time, contact support by tapping the button below.

{% cut "My tank wasn't filled up" %}
Contact support by tapping the button below. Briefly describe the issue and specify the license plate number, model, and color of your vehicle.

{% cut "I paid for fuel at another fuel pump " %}
If no one is using the fuel pump you paid for or is using it with a different type of fuel, the order will be canceled automatically and the money will return to your card.
If someone is filling up their vehicle with the same type of fuel you paid for, the money will not be refunded.
