Taxi

You can order a taxi in the Yandex Maps app.

Alert

To order a taxi, log in with your Yandex ID by tapping  → Sign in.

Order a taxi

  1. Go back to the home screen and tap .

  2. If the pickup address is selected by default, tap To. To change the pickup address, tap the address field and enter a new address or specify a place on the map.

    Note

    If your location is determined incorrectly, make sure that location detection is enabled on your device.

  3. Enter your destination point, and the app will show the estimated ride cost.

    Note

    You can add up to 20 intermediate points to your route. For more information, see Edit a route.

  4. Select a service class. If you have a Yandex Plus subscription, the number of Yandex Plus points you'll get for the trip shows next to the fare.

  5. Select a payment method:

    • Bank card: You can use one of the linked Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, or Mir cards.

      How to pay for a ride with Yandex Plus bonus points

      Alert

      This option is only available on Android devices.

      Enable the Spend on a ride option: 1 ruble will be debited from your card, and the remaining amount will be paid with bonus points.

      If don't have enough points, part of your ride will be paid with points, and the remainder will be deducted from your card.

    • Cash.

  6. To travel with your pet, tap  and enable Pet transportation. This service is unavailable in some regions and with some fare options.

  7. To write a message to the driver, tap   → Order comments.

  8. Tap Order a ride.

Cancel a ride

Note

If the car has already arrived, you will be charged for canceling your order.

Tap Cancel ride at the bottom of the screen and confirm order cancellation.

Pull up the section with the vehicle information, tap Cancel ride, and confirm order cancellation.

Rate a ride

After the ride, you can rate your driver on a scale from 1 to 5.

Order history

Tap  (profile picture) → Appointments and reservations → Taxi.

All data is synced with the Yandex Go app.
