Step 5. Check test orders

Before connecting, Bringly checks the store's ability to correctly accept and process orders. For this purpose, the store must fulfill the test order. The test order will appear in your personal account and be received via the API at the same time. To pass verification, process the order in any convenient way.

How to fulfill a test order

  1. Go to the page List of orders and track the receipt of test orders. For these types of orders, the column Order type will specify “Test”.

  2. Open the order page by clicking on its number and read the information about it. In the section Notes you will find a comment specifying that this is a test order and instructions for the operator.

  3. Perform the necessary actions:

    This is a test order. Checking the status “Canceled by the merchant from the status ‘New’. Please cancel this order.

    Cancel the order within one working hour from the moment the order is received. To do this, click Cancel and choose any reason for canceling.

    Attention. Don't accept the order! Cancel it while the status is “New”.

    This is a test order. Testing the “Sent for delivery” status. Please switch this order to the status “Sent for delivery”.

    1. Accept the order within one working hour from the moment the order is received, by clicking the button Accept.

    2. Switch the order to the status “Sent for delivery” within three days from the moment the order is accepted.

Test statuses

Status What it means and what to do
“In progress”

Verification in process (Bringly is checking actions performed by the store).

The merchant does not need to do anything.

“Store actions are expected”

A test order has been sent to your store.

Perform the actions specified in the order comments.

“Passed”

The store has successfully completed a test order and has passed the specified type of test.

“Not passed”

The store has not fulfilled the test order and has failed the specified type of test.

Possible reasons:

  • The store did not switch the order to the required status within the specified time.

  • The store switched the order to the wrong status.

  • Other errors occurred while generating the test order.

“Canceled”

The test was canceled by Bringly for some reason.

The merchant does not need to do anything.
