“Recommendation systems” report
This report contains information about traffic to your site from recommendation systems (news feeds, topical articles, etc.).
Note
The report does not include data on exchange networks and news aggregators (News, Rambler News, Google News).
To view the report, go to Reports → Sources → Recommendation systems.
To identify this source, Yandex Metrica uses the referrer and UTM tags.
Ways to use this report
Analyze what kind of sources attract more users
This report shows which recommendation systems bring users to your site.
Determine engagement of users that were attracted from different sources
All of this data can be derived from your website's bounce rate. The higher the bounce rate, the lower user engagement (bounces indicate users who leave within 15 seconds of staying at a single page).
Report structure and settings
Yandex.Metrica recognizes the following recommendation systems:
- Zen
- MirTesen
- Rambler
- Google Discover (doesn't count click-throughs on iOS devices)
- Opera Personal News
- Pulse (Mail.ru)
- Sony News Suite
- Toutiao
Other systems fall into the Other recommendation system: defined by tags section when identified by tags.
The report supports all settings available in Yandex Metrica.
