Step 3. Install the tag on your website
In the Settings section, go to the Tag tab and click Copy. Then insert this code into the HTML code of all the site's pages. We recommend inserting it as close to the top of the page as possible — the accuracy and completeness of data calculation depends on this. For more information, see the section Installing a tag.
After installation, the tag will be available on the My tags page. The tag immediately starts collecting data.

Questions and answers
You’re probably using the Smarty template engine, which incorrectly processes the curly brackets contained within the code snippet.
In order for the JavaScript code to be correctly handled in this template engine, you must enclose the Yandex Metrica code snippet in a special {literal}{/literal}
element (see the Smarty documentation) or use the {ldelim}{rdelim}
element to escape the curly brackets in the code snippet (see the Smarty documentation).
The YAN code snippet is installed automatically on site pages that contain YAN blocks. To get complete statistics, install the Yandex Metrica code snippet on all the site's pages. You can get the code snippet on the Settings page (Tag).
Here you can enable displaying the click map, accurate bounce rate, and other Yandex Metrica features. For more information, see Basic and additional tag settings.
For details, see the section Installing multiple tags on a site.
Statistics will be collected for all sites that have the tag installed, even if they are not indicated in the Website address and Additional addresses fields (see the section Basic and additional tag settings). In some reports, such as the Popular report, URLs for these sites are shown in gray.
