Alice

To use Alice in Yandex Navigator, select the Russian or Turkish language in your settings.
You can use your voice to communicate with Alice. For example, you can ask her to find information on the internet so that you don't get distracted from driving.
Alice also can:
- Plot a route to the address you specify or to your Home or Work address if you saved them. It's also possible to plot routes with stops at places you need to visit on your way. For example: "Alice, plot a route home and add a stop at a pharmacy".
- Calculate travel time.
- Inform you about the distance to your destination or your ETA.
- Determine your location.
- Show parking spaces and lots.
- Add a road event to the map.
- Show or hide the traffic layer.
- Find offline maps. Alice will open the Offline maps section so you can choose a city. You'll just need to select a map from the list and download it.
- Change the map type.
- Change the voice used in the app.
- Have a conversation with you.
- Tell you about the weather.
- Launch a game.
- Play music, switch tracks, like or dislike a song for you.
If you want Alice to hear you, allow the app to access your microphone.
Enable Alice
To talk to Alice in the app:

Tap (profile picture). If you aren't logged in, tap .

Select Settings → Alice.

Enable the Alice option to activate the voice assistant. To activate Alice, tap .
Where Alice is available
- On the home screen.
- On the route navigation screen.
- In the Yandex Search bar.

Enable the Voice activation option to activate Alice with your voice.

Select the phrase you want to use to activate Alice: Alice (default) or Yandex.
Calls with Alice
You can call numbers from your contact list using Alice. To set up calls with Alice:

Tap (profile picture). If you aren't logged in, tap .

Tap or activate Alice with your voice and say "Call".

Allow Yandex Navigator to access your contacts by tapping Allow only while using the app.
Yandex Navigator will sync with your contacts within a few minutes. After that, you will be able to make calls with Alice.
For example, say “Alice, call mom”. Depending on your device model, either a call will start or a screen with the dialed number will open after the voice command. If multiple numbers are linked to the contact, Alice ask which one to call.
