This function is only available on Android devices to users who are signed in and located in Russia.
You can add photos of a city or street to Yandex Navigator by taking snapshots of your route as you walk or drive.
To take snapshots of a route:
- Tap (profile picture) → Capture roads → Start road capture.
- If it's the first time you're taking a photo through the app, allow it to access your camera.
- Read the instructions and tap Got it.
- Tap and start moving along the route. Make sure road signs are in the frame.
- To end road capture, tap
. If you want to continue, tap .
To upload snapshots to Yandex Navigator:
- Tap the View button that shows the number of snapshots taken.
- Tap Upload. Your snapshots will appear in Yandex Navigator after they pass moderation.
