Subscriptions in Yandex Navigator
In Yandex Navigator, you can subscribe to reviews from your friends or experts whose opinions are important to you. Their recommendations can help you decide whether you want to visit a new place.
If you're subscribed to a user, you'll see their reviews at the top of the organization card.
Subscribe to a user's reviews
In the organization card
- Open the organization card.
- Go to Reviews.
- Tap Subscribe next to the user's review.
Through a photo in the organization card
- Open the organization card.
- Go to Photos.
- Select a photo in the user's review and tap in the lower-right corner.
On the user's reviews page
- Tap the user's profile picture.
- Tap Subscribe.
In your feed recommendations
- Select a user from those suggested in your feed and tap Subscribe.
The app may send notifications about new reviews from users that you follow. You'll receive a notification from the app whenever someone follows you. To disable notifications, follow the instructions.
Reviews feed
The feed displays reviews from users that you follow.
To go to the Feed tab:

Tap (profile picture). If you aren't logged in, tap .
- Tap Reviews and edits → Reviews.
If you want to learn more about a reviewed organization, tap its name to open the organization card.
In the feed, you can also see the recommendations from new users whose reviews you may find interesting. The profile of each user indicates the main theme of their reviews. For example: “many reviews about steaks” or “expert in coffee shops”.
If the app has access to your contacts, the profiles of your friends and other people you know will appear in your feed. To disable Yandex Navigator's access to your contacts, follow these steps.
Rate a review
You can rate other users' reviews by tapping these icons:
- — Likes.
- — Dislikes.
They form the user's rating. Users with a high rating are more likely to appear in the feed recommendations.
Unsubscribe from a user's reviews
In the organization card
- Open the organization card.
- Go to Reviews.
- Tap You're following next to the user's review.
Through a photo in the organization card
- Open the organization card.
- Go to Photos.
- Select a photo in the user's review and tap
in the lower-right corner.
On the user's reviews page
- Tap the user's profile picture.
- Tap Unsubscribe.
Under "Reviews and edits"
- Tap (profile picture) → Reviews and edits.
- Go to Subscriptions and tap Unsubscribe next to the username.
Set up your profile
Users can see the reviews and photos you've uploaded. They can also follow your profile and get notifications about new reviews from you.
To go to your profile, tap (profile picture) → Reviews and edits.
To share the profile with other users, in the top-left corner tap and select the service or messenger for sharing the link.
You can manage profile settings:
Change the public address
Your profile has a public address that's displayed in all Yandex services. To view or edit the public address in the profile:
- Tap your name or profile picture to bring up the settings window.
- Tap the field with the public address and make changes, if necessary.
- Tap Done.
Hide profile
If your profile is hidden, your reviews will be viewable only in the organization card.
If a user you follow hides their profile, they'll remain in your subscription list. Their reviews will be viewable only in the organization card.
To hide your profile:
- In the profile, tap your name or profile picture to bring up the settings window.
- Enable Hidden profile.
