Clips

Create clips in Shedevrum: write a unique story or choose from multiple templates, add your favorite content, and select a soundtrack.

Create clip

  1. Tap at the bottom of the screen and select Clips.

  2. Select CustomCreate.

  3. Think of a story you want to tell and select 3 to 30 content items that fit your idea. You can use various items:

    • Your own posts — select from Posts.

    • Your favorite posts from others — select from Likes.

    • Other posts — describe your dream content in the search for content field, then select the items you want to use in your clip. You can easily tell images from videos: all video items have a symbol in the bottom left corner. Image items don't have this symbol.

    Tap items to add them to your clip. The added items will appear in the clip timeline at the bottom of the screen.

    To reorder items, tap an item in the timeline and move it left or right.

    Note

    A clip can't be longer than 2 minutes.

  4. After you've selected the items you want, tap Continue. Your clip will open in the preview and edit mode.

  5. Add music:

    1. Tap .

    2. Choose music. To find a song, enter the song title or artist name in the find music field.

    Tap the audio track at the bottom to edit it. In edit mode, you can:

    • Change the music: tap the cover image to select a new song.

    • Trim the audio track: swipe the audio track left or right to adjust the starting point.

    • Remove the audio track: tap next to the track name below the timeline.

  6. Edit the clip. You can:

    • Add a new item: tap , select a post, and tap Continue.

    • Adjust the item duration: tap and drag the item's start and end points.

    • Duplicate an item: tap an item → .

    • Undo the changes: tap an item → .

    • Remove an item: tap an item → .

    • Reorder items: tap an item in the timeline and move it left or right.

    • Add transitions between items: tap between two items and select a transition effect, such as flash, dissolve, or spin. To apply the transition effect:

      • Tap Apply if you want to apply the transition only to selected items.

      • Tap Apply to all if you want to apply the transition to all items.

  7. Add hashtags:

    1. Tap .

    2. Select an existing hashtag or enter your own. You can add multiple hashtags.

    3. Tap Save.

  8. How to save changes and publish the clip:

    • To publish your clip, tap Done and wait for it to upload. After the clip is published, you can share it or download it as an MP4.

    • To save your clip as a draft without publishing it, simply exit the clip editor. Your clip will be automatically saved for later. To resume editing, tap Clips.

    • To delete the clip, tap .

  1. Tap at the bottom of the screen and select Clips.

  2. Choose one of the available story templates:

    • Adventure: an epic quest filled with mystery and daring feats.

    • Action: an intense battle between two characters.

    • Romance: a tender love story that will melt your heart.

    • Rhythm: dynamic cuts matched to rhythmic music.

    • Relaxation: soothing visuals with gentle transitions.

    • Transformation: enchanting filtrums to bring your photos to life.

  3. Your clip will be a montage of content items. You can use various items:

    • Your own posts — select from Posts.

    • Your favorite posts from others — select from Likes.

    • Other posts — describe your dream content in the search for content field, then select the items you want to use in your clip. You can easily tell images from videos: all video items have a symbol in the bottom left corner. Image items don't have this symbol.

    Tap items to add them to your clip. The added items will appear in the clip timeline at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Add more items. You can change the order of items. To do this, tap an item in the timeline and move it left or right.

    Note

    Each template requires a specific number of items to create a story.

    Example

    You need 10 items for an Action story. They should appear in this order:

    1. Setting.

    2. First character.

    3. Second character.

    4. First character's close-up.

    5. Second character's close-up.

    6. Opening scene.

    7. First character's move.

    8. Second character's move.

    9. Battle of two characters.

    10. Final scene.

    A clip can't be longer than 2 minutes.

  5. After you've selected the items you want, tap Continue. Your clip will open in the preview and edit mode.

    1. Tap .

    2. Choose music. To find a song, enter the song title or artist name in the find music field.
