Minors can only use the service in Kids mode.

Feed and search

View the feed

Launch Shedevrum. The home screen has five tabs at the top:

  • Recent: Recent posts by Shedevrum users.

  • Following: The users you follow.

  • Popular: Posts with the highest number of likes. Switch between the All time, Week, and Day tabs to view popular posts for a specific period.

  • Albums: Albums by Shedevrum users. Go to the album to see the posts inside. You can also create your own albums.

  • Filtrums: Latest filtrums by Shedevrum users. When viewing images with filters applied, you can compare the original and filtered versions by tapping and holding the original image.

At the bottom of the screen, tap one of these icons:

  — takes you to the home screen from another tab.

  — redirects you to the clips feed.

View settings

By default, videos in your feed will autoplay. To turn autoplay off, go to → backgroundLayer 1 → Settings and disable Autoplay under video.

To see the home screen every time you re-open the app, go to → backgroundLayer 1 → Settings and enable Show main screen on app launch under general.

To find a specific post or view content related to a certain topic, tap and enter your query. You can also select a query from your search history: it will appear when you tap in the search box. Shedevrum will show relevant selections in different categories:

  • Authors
  • Images
  • videos
  • Texts
  • Tags

Tap All next to a category to see all the results within it.

Albums

Use albums to organize your posts and save other people's creations.

Here's how you create an album:

  1. Tap  → New album under your own or someone else's post.
  2. Enter the album's name.
  3. Set the album visibility: everyone, friends only, or only me.
  4. Tap Create. The album will appear in your profile.

To save a post to an album, tap below the post and select the album that you want.

Actions with albums:

  • View an album: Tap  → in the bottom-right corner of the home screen and open the album.
  • Share an album: Open the album and tap backgroundLayer 1 → Share in the top-right corner.
  • Edit an album: Open the album and tap backgroundLayer 1 → Edit in the top-right corner.
  • Delete an album: Open the album and tap backgroundLayer 1 → Delete in the top-right corner.
