How to write a prompt

Prompt structure

A complete prompt includes:

  • An action for the neural network (for example, write).
  • A genre (for example, advertisement post).
  • Details (for example, about cake discounts).
  • Context or a target location (for example, for a coffee shop website).

Prompt types

Feel free to experiment with different types of prompts on Shedevrum. For example:

  • Question: To find out something quickly, ask the neural network.
  • Creation of text: To get a text with the right parameters, write an appropriate prompt.
  • Riddle: The neural network will figure out the logic behind it and give you an answer.
  • Text analysis: Ask the neural network to highlight the most important parts of the text, draw a conclusion about an article, or write an essay.

Tips

  • Please clearly define the topic and goal of the text. For example, instead of Write an interesting post for social media, enter Write a post about a new promotion for a VK group.
  • Set a role for the neural network. For example: Imagine that you're a journalist. Write a column about water pollution for a newspaper.
  • Be sure to include both desired elements and things you want to avoid in your text description. For example: Come up with a slogan for a fitness center. Don't use the words "fitness" and "sport".
  • If you don't know how to word your prompt, ask the neural network. For example: I need to write an article Kafka in Russian Literature. What prompt should I enter to write the text?
