Permanent links to a video meeting
Restriction. You can only create permanent links when scheduling a meeting using Yandex Calendar.
With a permanent link, you can join video meetings using the same URL.
A permanent link is created when you schedule a video meeting, and remains unchanged.
You can use permanent links for recurring meetings. It is assigned to the meeting and is available without any time limits.
How to create a permanent link
- Open Yandex Telemost.
- Schedule a meeting for a certain day.
- Once you fill in all the meeting parameters, the meeting is added to Yandex Calendar. A permanent link to the video meeting is automatically added to the description. Copy it and use it for future meetings.
Differences between permanent and temporary links
- A permanent link to the video meeting is created in advance and only by adding an event to Yandex Calendar (by clicking Schedule in Yandex Telemost). A temporary link is created for meetings that will start soon (created via a new video meeting in Yandex Telemost).
- A permanent link is available without any time limits, and a temporary link is available for 24 hours after it is created.
