Automation in Tracker

You can automate your actions with issues in Tracker using triggers, auto actions, and macros. These tools will help you save time on routine operations, such as updating issue statuses, summoning colleagues, or creating sub-issues with specific parameters.

Setting up automations requires the Queue management access rights.

Triggers

Actions performed on queue issues when certain events occur. For example, when the issue status changes or a particular user subscribes to the issue, a trigger can change issue parameters, leave a comment, or send an HTTP request to interact with other services' APIs, or set up integrations.

Auto actions

Actions on queue issues that are triggered automatically at a specified interval. You can use auto actions to set up regular updates for queue issues, such as check for issues with specific components, set an assignee for them if the assignee is missing, or create issues for data backups.

Macros

Actions that can be run by clicking a button on the issue page. By using macros, you can automate routine actions: change issue parameters and add standard comments.
