How to set up a billing account

This page is intended for Yandex Tracker administrators working in an organization on the Yandex Cloud platform.
If you're using Yandex 360 for Business, go to Enabling and managing access.

When six or more of your employees use Yandex Tracker, the service becomes paid. Charges are applied to your linked billing account on a monthly basis.

Billing accounts are managed by the administrator. You can use your existing billing account from Yandex Cloud or create a separate account just for Yandex Tracker.

Linking a billing account

If you use Yandex Cloud services and want to use the same billing account to pay for Yandex Tracker, link this account to the service:

  1. Open Tracker and log in to your organization's admin account.
  2. In the left panel, click → Administration. The page will show all your billing accounts from Yandex Cloud.
  3. Select an account and click Link to the right of it.

To link a billing account that you don't own to Yandex Tracker, ask the owner to grant you the billing.accounts.admin or billing.accounts.editor role on the billing account's settings page in Yandex Cloud Billing. Yandex Cloud: Yandex Cloud Billing roles .

You can't link a billing account that has an outstanding balance or is Suspended. Yandex Cloud: Billing account statuses

Changing a billing account

You can change your organization's billing account only once a month.

  1. Open Tracker and log in to your organization's admin account.
  2. In the left panel, click → Administration. The page will display the billing account linked to Yandex Tracker.
  3. To the right of the account name, click Change billing account.
  4. Select another billing account or create a new one.

Starting next month, payments will be debited from the new billing account. Make sure you don't have outstanding balance in your old account after you switch to the new one.

Creating a new billing account

Step 1. Open the settings

  1. Open Tracker and log in to your organization's admin account.
  2. In the left-hand panel, click Administration Create new account.
  3. Select the payer's country of residence.
  4. Enter the billing account name. It will appear in the list of available billing accounts.

Step 2. Enter the payer details

If you previously created any billing accounts, you can quickly add details of one of the available payers.

To add a new payer:

  1. Click New payer.
  2. Select the payer type: Individual or Business or individual entrepreneur.
    If the payer isn't a resident of Russia, you can select only Business or individual entrepreneur.
  3. Enter your personal details or the details of your company.

Be careful when adding contact details: they are required not only to reach you, but also to issue payment invoices and send financial documents.

Step 3. Select a payment method

Link a Mir, Visa, or MasterCard card.

  1. Click Add card.
  2. Specify your card details: 16-digit number, expiration date, and CVV (you can find it on the back of your card).
  3. Click Link.
Which card can be used in your country
  • Residents of Russia make payments in RUB and can only use bank cards issued by Russian banks. Residents of the Republic of Belarus also make payments in rubles and can pay for Yandex Cloud services with their Belkart cards issued in the Republic of Belarus or Mir cards issued in the Russian Federation.
  • Residents of Kazakhstan make payments in KZT and can only use bank cards issued by non-Russian banks.
  • Residents of other countries make payments in USD and can only use bank cards issued by non-Russian banks.

To verify your bank card, we'll hold a small amount on your account. This amount will not be written off and will be released as soon as the verification is complete. The time required to release the money may vary from bank to bank.

Payment for Yandex Tracker will be debited only after you activate the paid version.

If you are a legal entity or a sole proprietor, you can pay for services via bank transfer: upon selecting this method, an email with further instructions will be sent to your email address.

Step 4. Create an account and link it to Yandex Tracker

Double-check the details you entered and click Create. By clicking this button, you accept the Yandex Cloud offer.

Once the billing account is created, link it to Yandex Tracker. You can also use the initial grant to get familiar with the Yandex Cloud services, unless you activated the trial period or purchased paid services before.

Edit a billing account

  1. You can edit your billing account:

  2. Select your billing account and make changes:

    • To rename the account, click Rename to the right of its name.
    • To link a different bank card, click Change bank card in the Bank card section.
    • To change a payment method for a legal entity or sole proprietor, send us a message: Contact support
    • To change the payer data, at the bottom of the page, click Edit in Yandex Balance, then go to Invoices: https://balance.yandex.com .

You can't change the name or INN (TIN) of the legal entity — you'll need to create a new billing account.

Unlinking a billing account from an organization

You can't use Yandex Tracker without a linked billing account: you can either switch to another account or reduce the number of Yandex Tracker users to five. When six or more of your employees use Yandex Tracker, payments for the service will continue to be charged.
