# What is an Agile board

An issue board is a tool for visually managing issues and tracking their statuses. For example, you can create a board that shows all your team's issues.

A board is divided into vertical columns representing workflow stages. Issues are shown as cards, similar to paper sticky notes. Team members can view team issues, assign them to each other, and move them between columns as work progresses.
