Check employee workload on the Gantt chart

Below the Gantt chart, there is a table showing the workload of each assignee on a specific day. It helps the manager monitor the workload balance in the team: which employees are overloaded and which are underloaded, and redistribute work in time.

This table is available on the chart in projects, portfolios, and queues. The workload is calculated across all issues of the assignee, so the information will be the same on every chart.

How to assess workload

Each assignee has a separate row, and each cell represents one day.

At the top of the table, there are two tabs: the Issues tab shows the number of issues per day, and the Hours tab shows the time occupied by issues. The time is taken from the Hours per day field.

The cell color shows the employee's workload on that day: yellow means 6 to 8 hours, red means more than 8 hours.

Colored marks may be displayed on top of the cells. They indicate that the employee is unavailable: on vacation, on sick leave, on a business trip, and so on. Click such a cell to view the type of absence. You can add employee absence data via the Yandex Tracker API: run the request Create employee absences.

View employee issues and update time

Click the cell of the required day to open the employee's issue list. To the right of the issue, the time from the Hours per day field is displayed — click it to edit the value.
