Creating a mailbox on a Yandex 360 domain
You can connect a mailbox on a Yandex 360 domain if the domain is connected in your organization's account. This mailbox can only be used for creating issues and comments and as a return address when sending emails to users. You can't log in to it as a regular mailbox to view or send emails.
You can link a maximum of 200 email addresses to queues in Yandex Tracker. If you need more, contact support.
Before you begin, open the queue settings and click Configure email addresses.
-
Select On a domain in Yandex 360.
If your organization doesn't have a domain configured, Yandex Tracker displays the Connect domain message. To configure a domain, see Yandex 360 for Business Help.
-
In the Email field, enter a new address that will only be used for queue emails. You can select any available address on your domain. The domain name usually matches your organization's website address.
A mailbox with this address will be created automatically. You can't use this method to connect an existing mailbox on a Yandex 360 domain. To connect an existing mailbox, configure it on any email server.
-
If you want to handle messages from both the organization's employees and external users, enable the Receive messages not only from company employees option.
-
Specify the parameters with which the issues should be created in the queue: the issue type and components.
-
To change the signature used in outgoing messages by default, click Add new signature. The email recipient will see the Alias field value as the sender name.
To learn how to edit the signature text, see Editing an email signature.
-
Click Save. The email address will become active within one hour of creation.
