Edit a goal in the Tracker mobile app

In the app, you can change goal parameters, add metrics, key results and subgoals, and create links.

To start editing a goal, open the goal list and select it.

Change basic parameters

• To change the name, tap it and edit the text.

• To change the description, go to About the goal and tap Edit at the bottom.

• To change the status, deadline, or owner of the goal, go to Parameters, tap the current value, and select a new one.

Add a metric

To attach a widget to a goal:

1. Open the desktop version of Tracker, select a widget on the dashboard, and in the upper-right corner click → Copy link for iframe.

2. Open the goal in the mobile app.

3. At the top, click and under Add, select Metric.

4. Specify the metric name. Below, paste the link to the widget.

5. Click Add.

Add key results and subgoals

To add a key result or subgoal:

1. Go to Progress.
2. At the bottom, click Add.
3. Select Key result or Subgoal.
   • To create a key result, set the parameters as described on the How to track goal progress page.
   • To create a subgoal, select an existing goal or create a new one.

Create a link

To create a new link:

1. Go to Links.

2. At the bottom, click Link.

3. Select an object:

   • With project
   • With portfolio
   • With goal

4. Create a new object or add an existing one:

   New

   Existing

   1. Stay on the New tab, enter the name and description of the new object. You can change them later.

   2. Set the deadline.

   3. If you're adding a goal, select the link type.

   4. At the bottom, click Create.

      The new object page opens.

   1. If the object already exists, go to the Existing tab.

   2. Select an object from the list.

   3. If you're adding a goal, select the link type.

   4. At the bottom, click Add.

To delete a link, click on the right and select Delete.

Add a file

To add a file, go to Files and click Add file at the bottom.

To delete a file, click on the right and select Delete.

Sending comments in the Updates section

In the Updates section, you can add comments and reply to other users' comments.

To change the goal status when sending a comment, select a new status above the editing area.
