Editing an issue

To edit an issue, go to the issue page. If you don't have edit access to the issue, request permissions from the queue owner. Learn more:I don't have access to an issue

The issue pages are updated in real time. If someone edits or comments on the issue you're viewing, you'll see a notification about that at the bottom of the screen.

Changing issue names

Tap the issue name. Edit the text and tap Save.

Editing issue descriptions

  1. On the issue page, open Description and tap Edit at the bottom.

  2. Make your changes and tap Save. To preview the issue before saving changes, tap .

In the issue description, you can:

  • Use YFM markup to format your text. Learn more:Text formatting

  • Add images or files to the description. Learn more:Attaching images and files to an issue

  • Specify the key of any other issue. After that, Tracker will automatically link this issue to the current one. The key must be in uppercase letters. For example: TEST-1234. You'll see the linked issue under Links.

If you want to paste a link to another issue in your comment without actually linking the issues together, specify the st: parameter before the issue key (for example, st:TEST-1234). If you do this, a magic link will be displayed in the text field, but you won't link issues together.

You can disable automatic linking of issues from different queues in the queue settings.

Editing issue fields

The issue details are shown under Parameters. To edit a parameter value, select it, make your changes, and tap Save.

If you don't see the parameters you need, add them by tapping Edit parameter list.

Changing issue status

To change the issue status, tap the status name under Parameters and select a new status.

Configuring how issues are displayed

You can manage your Yandex Tracker issues more easily if you customize the appearance of the issue page, including the interface theme and language, button display, and other options. To do this, in the desktop version, go to Settings.

Settings configured for the desktop version apply to the mobile app.

Other issue actions

You can add comments, links, and files, and perform other actions on issues:

An issue key is the unique ID of an issue. It consists of the queue key and the sequence number, for example: TEST-123. You can use this key to access the corresponding issue via a link: https://tracker.yandex.com//TEST-123.
