HTML format in emails

Previously, email text was displayed in issue descriptions or comments in plain text format, so message formatting was lost. Now when processing incoming emails and sending replies, Tracker uses HTML format. Markdown formatting became available when editing email text in the Tracker interface.

How Tracker email integration works

New issue field types

Now you can create the following fields for your issues:

  • Duration — here you can specify a time period.
  • Money — here you can specify an amount and currency.
  • Money and rate — select this Money field subtype to specify not only the amount but also the employee's rate. For example, full rate — 1, half rate — 0.5.

Added ability to restrict queue creation

Now the organization administrator chooses who can create a new queue: any employee or only administrators. Learn more in {#T}.

Added dashboards to the mobile app

Dashboards are now available in the Tracker mobile app: track issues and metrics right from your smartphone.

You can only view dashboards in the app; creating and editing them is only available in the desktop version of Tracker. For more information, see Dashboards in the Tracker mobile app.

Improved goal structure

The Links menu in the goal structure now shows not only projects and portfolios but also goals that block the selected goal or depend on it.

Added new Goals and Projects and portfolios widgets

Previously, you could only add an issue list to the dashboard. Now you can track goals as well as projects and portfolios. For more information about widgets, see What you can add to a dashboard

Added statuses for key results

Now you can assign statuses to key results — the same as for goals. The status is assigned in key result editing mode.

This allows you to track goal progress in more detail and see the status of each key result separately. Learn more on {#T}.

Previously, in the Links section, you could only enter the name or ID of a project, portfolio, or goal. Now you can paste a link to the desired object.
