# Editing a dashboard

By default, only the dashboard owner can edit the template. [Edit the access settings](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/user/share-dashboard.md#access) to allow other users to edit your dashboard.

To edit a dashboard:
1. Open the dashboard page.
1. Click **Edit** in the top right corner.
1. To create a widget, click **Add** in the top right corner of the page and select the widget type. For more information about widgets and how to configure them, see [What you can add to a dashboard](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/user/widgets.md).
1. To move the widget, drag it to where you want it on the dashboard. To resize a widget, drag it by the bottom right corner.
1. To delete a widget, click → **Delete** in the top right corner.
1. Click **Save**.
## Editing a widget {#edit}
To change the settings of a widget:
1. In the top right corner of the widget, click → **Edit**.
1. Make your changes and click **Save**.
## Selecting a widget color {#color}
You can highlight a dashboard widget with one of five colors. Widgets have no default colors.
To select a widget color:
1. In the top right corner of the widget, click → **Choose color**.
1. Select a color from the palette. You'll see a color bar at the top of the widget.
## Deleting a dashboard {#delete_dashboard}
A dashboard can only be deleted by its owner. To delete a dashboard:
1. Open the dashboard page.
1. In the top right corner, click → **Delete**. Confirm the deletion.
You can't restore a dashboard after deleting it.
