# Editing an issue
To edit an issue, go to the issue page. If you don't have edit access to the issue, [request permissions](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/faq.md#no-access) from the queue owner or your company's [admin](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/role-model.md).
The issue pages are updated in real time. If someone edits or comments on the issue whose page is open, you will see a notification about that in the bottom right corner of the page.
## Changing issue names {#edit-name}
Tap the issue name. Edit the text and press **Enter**.
## Editing issue descriptions {#edit-description}
To the right of the issue description, tap and edit the text. Tap **Save** to save your changes.
In the description, you can:
* Use [YFM markup](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/user/markup.md) to format your text.
* [Add images or files](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/user/attach-file.md) to the description.
* Specify the key of any other issue. After that, Tracker will automatically link this issue to the current one. The key must be in uppercase letters. For example: `TEST-1234`.
## Assigning the issue {#assignee}
1. Open the issue page and click the **Assignee** field in the right panel.
1. Start typing the employee's name. To quickly assign the issue to yourself, click **Assign to me** to the right.
Each issue can have only one assignee. To organize work involving multiple people:
- If multiple users work on an issue one after another, change the assignee as the issue progresses.
- If multiple users work on an issue at the same time, split the issue into sub-issues and specify an assignee for each sub-issue.
- Create a global field with the **List of users** type and use it in issues. For example, name this field "Co-assignees" and add other people working on the issue. Alternatively, create separate fields for each role, such as "Analyst", "Tester", and "Designer".

## Editing issue fields {#edit-fields}
The [issue details](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/user/create-param.md##default-fields) are shown in the panel on the right. To edit the parameter's value, click its name and select a new value.
If you don't see the desired parameters in the right panel, add them by clicking **Edit parameter list**.
To edit the parameters of multiple issues at once, use [bulk operations](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/manager/bulk-change.md#change-parameters).
### Configuring the panel display {#navigation-panel}
You can collapse or expand the panel with issue parameters by clicking in the top right corner.
To change the width of the issue parameters panel, drag its left border.
## Changing issue status {#edit-status}
There are two ways to change the issue status:
* On the right-hand panel, select a value in the **Status** field.
* In the issue header at the top of the page, click the status icon and select a value.

## Configuring how issues are displayed {#edit-display}
You can manage your Yandex Tracker issues more easily if you customize the appearance of the issue page, including the interface theme and language, button display, and other options. To do this, go to **Settings** → **Interface**. [Personal settings](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/user/personal.md).
Settings configured for the desktop version automatically apply to the mobile app.
