Calendar for an issue filter

The calendar view helps you plan your team's workload and keep track of issue completion. This mode makes it convenient to monitor release launch dates and ongoing campaigns.

The calendar is available on the issue search, queue, and project pages. To open it, select the Calendar view on the filter panel.

How to read the calendar

The calendar shows bars with issue names. Each bar runs from the issue's start date to its end date. The bar color corresponds to the issue status:

  • — the issue is in progress.
  • — work on the issue is paused.
  • — the issue is completed and closed.

If an issue has only a deadline specified, it takes up one day on the calendar. Issues with no dates set are shown in the Unscheduled list.

Only two issues are shown in a single calendar cell. To view the list of all issues on a particular day, click Show all at the bottom of the cell.

Scheduling an issue or changing its dates

If an issue has no dates set, you can set them right on the calendar:

  1. Click Unscheduled. A panel with issues that have no dates set opens.
  2. Drag the issue card to a date on the calendar.

If necessary, adjust the dates:

  • To change the Start date parameter in the issue, hover over the left edge of the bar and drag it to the date you need.
  • To change the Deadline parameter in the issue, drag it by the right edge of the bar.
