# How to set up notifications in Telegram

To receive Tracker notifications in Telegram, link your account and create a subscription.

## Step 1. Link your account {#account}

1. On the [![](../_assets/svg/notification-link.svg)</svg> **Notifications** page, ![](../_assets/svg/new-window.svg)</svg>](https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/subscriptions) click **Telegram** → **Link account**.
1. In the window that opens, click **Go to Telegram bot**.
1. On the redirect page, open Telegram in the app or browser.
1. In the bot chat, click **START** or enter the `/start` command.
1. Copy the code from the message.
1. Paste the code into the window on the notification builder page and click **Confirm**.

## Step 2. Set up a subscription {#subscribe}

On the [https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/subscriptions/new ![](../_assets/svg/new-window.svg)</svg>](https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/subscriptions/new) page, set up a subscription and select Telegram for notifications. You can also add a new channel to an existing subscription. For more information, see [How to set up subscriptions](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/user/notification-constructor.md)

The bot will now send notifications in Telegram about selected events.

## Changing or unlinking your account Telegram

Open the [![](../_assets/svg/notification-link.svg)</svg> **Notifications** ![](../_assets/svg/new-window.svg)</svg>](https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/subscriptions) page, click **Telegram**, and select an action:
- To change accounts, click ![](../_assets/svg/actions.svg)</svg> → ![](../_assets/svg/icon-call.svg)</svg> **Link another account**.
- To stop bot notifications, click ![](../_assets/svg/actions.svg)</svg> → ![](../_assets/svg/del-link.svg)</svg> **Unlink Telegram** and confirm.
