How to enable push notifications from Yandex Tracker in your browser

You can now enable push notifications from Yandex Tracker to receive updates about events in your issues directly in the browser.

Browser notifications only work for subscriptions that have the Notification center selected as the notification channel. For more information about subscriptions, see How to set up subscriptions

To set up push notifications:

  1. In the left panel, click Settings Notifications.
  2. Under Notifications, select Notification center as the channel.
  3. Enable Browser notifications.
  4. Click Allow in the browser's pop-up window.

Now, all notifications sent to your Notification center will also appear as pop-up messages in your browser. To open the issue the notification is about, click the pop-up message.

Your browser settings blocks all notifications

If you've disabled notification requests or blocked push notifications for all sites, you won't receive notifications from Yandex Tracker. You can enable them manually in the browser settings.

You're browsing in incognito mode

In Incognito Mode (also known as Private Browsing in Mozilla Firefox and Safari), you won't receive any notifications, including those sent by Yandex Tracker. To resume notifications, exit this mode by closing the window and restart the browser.

You're using a lesser-known browser

Some browsers block push notifications by default. In these cases, you won't receive notifications from Yandex Tracker. For some of these browsers, you can enable notifications in the browser settings.
