# Using shared templates

To share your template with other users:

1. [Set up shared access to the template](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/user/share-template.md#access). You can set up access for specific users, or your entire organization.

1. [Enable the template in the personal settings](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/user/share-template.md#section_vkg_trs_zz).

## Setting up access to a template {#access}

Access rights for a template can be changed by the template owner or any user who has permission to configure the access rights.

To change access settings for a template:

   In the left-hand panel, click ![](../_assets/svg/settings-360.svg) **Settings** → ![](../_assets/svg/notification-link.svg)</svg> **Notifications**. {#notif}

1. Select the tab you need:
    - [Issues](https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/templates/issues) to edit issue templates.
    - [Comments](https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/templates/comments) to edit comment templates.

1. Click **Queue** and **Owner** to filter out the templates if required.

1. Next to the template, click ![](../_assets/svg/actions.svg)</svg> → ![](../_assets/svg/unblock.svg)</svg> **Set up access**.

1. Add users or groups who will have access to the template.

1. Select the actions that you want to allow the user or group:

    - **View**: Users can open the template by clicking the link.

    - **Edit**: Users can edit the template and save the changes.

    - **Configure access**: Users can delete the template and manage access settings for other users.

1. To remove a user or group from the list, click ![](../_assets/svg/delete.svg)</svg> on the right.

1. Click **Save**. If the user has access rights to the template, they'll see it in their [list of available templates](https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/templates/issues).

## How to change the template owner {#change-owner}

The template owner can only be changed by the current owner.

1. Next to the template, click ![](../_assets/svg/actions.svg)</svg> → ![](../_assets/svg/unblock.svg)</svg> **Set up access**.

1. In the settings window to the right of the current owner's name, click ![](../_assets/svg/icon-edit2.svg)</svg>and specify the new owner.

1. Click **Save**.



## Sharing a template {#share}

To share a template with a colleague, click ![](../_assets/svg/actions.svg)</svg> → ![](../_assets/svg/link.svg) **Copy link** next to the template.

The user can only see the template if they are granted [permission to view](#access) it.

## Enabling a shared template {#common}

To enable a shared template and [apply](https://yandex.ru/support/tracker/en/user/create-ticket.md) it when creating issues and adding comments:

1. Check that you have [permission to view](#access) the template.

1. Adjust the toggle switch to the right of the template to a colored state.
