Report on time spent

You can generate a report on the time spent by assignees to resolve issues from the selected list. The report only includes issues that use time tracking. The report is saved as an XLSX file.

To create a report on time spent:

  1. Click Create in the top right corner and select Report on time spent.

    You can also export the report on the queue page, on the project page, or in the issue filter. For more information, see Report on time spent.

  2. Enter a name for the report.

  3. Specify the issue source:

    • Filter: You can select one of the available filters.
    • Query language: Use the query language to select issues.
    • Parameters: You can add parameters to search for issues.
  4. Choose the issue parameters you'd like to include in your report: start typing the parameter name, then select it from the list.

    Local fields are organized into groups, and each group is identified by the key of the queue to which it belongs.

  5. Select Break down the time spent by day if needed. In this case, the report will be generated as a table with two sheets:

    • Timesheet report (per issue): Issue list and data on the time spent broken down by day.
    • Timesheet report (per queue): Queue list and data on the time spent broken down by day.
  6. Specify the period for which you want to get the report.

  7. Specify the assignees to be included in the report:

    • All: All issue assignees that match the filter criteria will be included in the report.
    • Specified employees: Selected employees that match the filter criteria will be included in the report.
  8. Click Generate report.

  9. On the report page, click Download. The button appears after the report is generated.
