Quality control for services that post job ads

To participate in the extended site display in Yandex search program, read the terms and requirements below.

Terms of placement

  1. The job openings you post must be valid, as in there must be a vacancy that a new employee can fill.

  2. Job ads that deal with freelance work, a specific order, or a one-off job are not allowed.

  3. The online service must be represented by a valid legal entity or an individual entrepreneur.

  4. The online service activities and offers must comply with the laws and regulations in Russia.

  5. Orders must be processed on the terms published by the service (offer parameters; additional terms), or on more favorable terms for the buyer.

  6. Profanity must not be placed on the service.

  7. The online service must not copy another online service (except regional versions, and so on).

  8. The online service must be localized for users from Russia.

  10. The online service site must work and contain no viruses. You can check the site for viruses in Yandex Webmaster on the Troubleshooting → Security and violations page.

  11. Each offer must be placed on a separate page on the online service site.

  12. The offer pages and the main site page must not contain additional windows that open (“popups”).

  13. The site must contain reliable information:

    About the legal entity
    • Full organization name.

    • Legal address.

    • OGRN.

    About the individual entrepreneur
    • Last name, first name, patronymic.

    • Primary State Registration Number of the individual entrepreneur

    We recommend that you provide this information on the “About the company” or “Contacts” page.

  14. The phone number listed on the online service site must work and be able to receive calls.

  15. If an online service provides services that are subject to certification, declaration or licensing, it must post supporting documents on its site.

  16. The online service must confirm the order during the moderation. The working hours of the online service indicated on the site are taken into account, and so is the region. If opening hours aren't specified, by default, the online service is assumed to be open from 10:00 to 18:00.

  17. The online service should have at least 25 sets (sets) that are collected without errors and displayed in search.

Types of checks

All online services are regularly checked by the quality control service. The service staff try to place orders in the online service through the site or through a phone call. The employee checks if the feed contains information that contradicts the page content. Based on the results of the check, placement of the online service may be suspended until any errors are corrected.

The quality control service staff performs the following checks:

Visual

The check is done without placing an order. The service employee carefully examines and verifies the information specified in the YML file and provided on the online service page.

Checking the display of the block in search results

After you submit the feed with data to Yandex, the quality control service regularly checks the information using the following algorithm:

  1. At least 25 unique sets with URLs that are already displayed in search results are selected. After that, they and the offers (offer) included in them are checked for compliance.
  2. If the share of sets with inappropriate offers exceeds 4%, the block cannot participate in the search.

If the feed fails to pass the check, a notification about this appears in Yandex Webmaster. It will contain examples of irrelevant responses. To resubmit the feed for rechecking, follow the recommendations in the notification and contact customer support using the form specified in the notification.

What should I do if my online service was not allowed placement or blocked?

The online service may be refused placement or disabled if it violates the rules of the service:

  • The check revealed that the online service placed an offer in order to attract the user's attention and redirect them to a similar offer.

  • The online service can be blocked based on the user complaints analysis.

  • The same error is regularly found in several offers of the online service.

  • The online service is recognized as a duplicate showcase of another service.

  • The online service uses links to offers that redirect users to other sites.

  • The online service didn't respond to the order during the verification period. The working hours of the online service indicated on the site are taken into account, and so is the region. If opening hours aren't specified, by default, the online service is assumed to be open from 10:00 to 18:00.
