# Site usability

Yandex's mission is to find the answer to any question a user might have. And this answer should not only be relevant, but also easy to view and work with. For example, users should have access to the information they need without interference from excessive pop-ups or advertising while trying to make sense of overcomplicated texts.

Unfortunately, webmasters sometimes neglect users' interests and neglect site usability. Therefore, we've developed a special algorithm that can determine how useful specific page elements are, and give preference to user-friendly sites in our search results.
