Quality control
The quality control service checks partner offers on a daily basis. A certain set of offers is chosen for the check.
A quality control service employee follows the links from the offers to partner resources to check whether the offer is available and whether the price matches the submitted information.
Depending on the offer availability and price accuracy, the following aggregate metrics are calculated:
-
FAILED, 0–5% site price higher: the percentage of offers whose price is 0–5% higher on the resource. -
FAILED, 0–5% site price lower: the percentage of offers whose price is 0–5% lower on the resource. -
FAILED, no offer on site: the percentage of offers that were missing on the resource. -
FAILED, wrong site price: the percentage of offers where the submitted price and the price on the resource differed by more than 5%. -
OK, equality: the percentage of offers whose price matched the price on the resource.
For convenience, you can use these reference values of the quality metric:
-
Excellent quality: the percentage of valid offers is 95% or more.
-
Good quality: the percentage of valid offers is 85% or more.
-
Average quality: the percentage of valid offers is 75% or more.
-
Poor quality: the percentage of valid offers is 55% or more.
-
Very poor quality: the percentage of valid offers is less than 55%.
